254-4 OceanFront

We just returned yesterday from our vacation and I miss waking up, sitting out on the lanai, watching the beautiful morning sky and listening to the waves while drinking my coffee. The house was perfect for our family vacation! The view is breathtaking and the accommodations were great with everything we needed. The downstairs bedroom is good for anyone needing to avoid the stairs and the rental’s close location to Lahaina is a plus to visit all the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this rental and hope to go back in the near future. Thanks so much for a perfect stay!

We had planed this trip to take my mother for her 89th birthday. It was the perfect location for her and us. Large ground floor room and parking right outside the front door. The views from the lanai were outstanding!

Cannot beat the beachfront location of this property and its views, but there were some flaws that could be fixed to be a to notch rental property renters. Upon arrival, we noticed that the upstairs bathrooms and carpets were still dirty from previous renters after being made perfectly clear that we could not enter the property before 4:00PM local time due to cleaning crew work/ perpetration for our stay which $700.00 (Cleaning Fee's) should have taken care of either before or after. Screens were also missing from multiple windows leaving us unable to get fresh air through the property without risking pests entering as well as the cable box only worked in the living room TV leaving the other TV's useless. A better step by step guide on how to use as well as the plentiful other remotes and switches in the house to control every little fan/ light was difficult to figure out. Lastly, the parking spot cost us an additional $72.00 when we arrives through the HOA which was not described in the contract and should be assumed that two vehicles would be used as the property can host up to 8 people. Kind of hard to fit 8 people in 1 vehicle. For the amount that it cost us, the 2nd parking spot should be included as well as a late checkout would be nice as the cleaning crew did not show up until well after we left the property on the checkout date!

Our entire family enjoyed their stay in the oceanfront townhouse in Puamana. We loved the fact that the ocean was right outside our accommodation. We felt secure - our property and our personal selves. The management was professional, communicative, and responsive to any queries that we had. We would rent from this agency again. Thank you.

Family of six adults for three nights was very comfortable. Located 30 feet from ocean but beach access is about 300 feet north. Lanai is very comfortable. Excellent A/C if needed. Part of Puamana estate conveniently located at south end of Front Street but in gated community with swimming pools and other amenities.

This property is located right in Lahaina. Perfect distance to beaches, shops and restaurants. The particular property is beachfront and the view is amazing. Waking up to a beautiful water and waves was amazing. This property was perfect for our first family vacation and our first time in Hawaii.

This property is beautiful and being oceanfront was amazing. This unit is near the end of the property and we loved the privacy and peacefulness. We were expecting beach access right in front of our unit but it’s actually a little bit of a walk down as they are trying to protect the shore and have a few designated beach access spots. Very family oriented community, it was a wonderful experience. Be prepared for hoa rules such as noise ordinances, no music at the pools etc. this was fine for us but I can imagine for some groups that wouldn’t be

Fantastic property! We had 7 adults and never felt overcrowded. The property was roomy and had all the amenities we needed for cooking, relaxing by the beach and more. It was clean, well kept. My one suggestion is to add another seat on the balcony off the master as you walk out to the right. Excellent location to downtown Lahaina, all within walking distance. Would come back!

Gorgeous location. Only issue was the washer only held 3 towels and the place gave us 3 tide pods. For the price for the week and having to wash loads of towels a day was not so fun. But overall location great and we had a blast. The common pool areas could use a makeover lots of cracked concrete

Luckily for us the condo was updated with all new furniture as well as other updates after we booked the condo. Nice upgrades and made our visit even better. We were there for a family wedding and our place turned into the condo everyone was at. Only bummer was the path to the ocean is a little bit down the beach. You can see the water it just isn't as close as you would like. Not the fault of the condo, it's due to erosion control.

We had an amazing time at an exceptional location! It was great that we were able to have the whole family in one place kids and grandkids. We had beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. The weather could not have been any better. We had a couple of minor issues that were taken care of immediately. We definitely would recommend this place for a family vacation.

Our stay in Puamana was absolutely beautiful and the perfect family getaway! We were on a family trip spanning three generations and this property offered everything that we needed to accommodate everyone's needs. The first floor offered great mobility access, which was a main factor in booking this particular condo. The view was beautiful and we loved walking around the property! The pool was also very serene and overlooked the ocean.
Overall, we found the description true and accurate. The property was very clean and organized. We had clear communication with AVPR. We enjoyed being in a quiet area rather than a resort, but also close enough to groceries, takeout, several other beaches, etc.

This is our 3rd trip to Puamana 254-4 & we absolutely LOVE it there. Location is KEY & this gated community has almost everything you need. Plus Dave & Cathy the property managers are so kind & on top of things immediately. Once the new central A/C is installed (scheduled for the week after we left) it will be close to perfect once again! We had 6 adults and 2 children and this property was perfect for us. View was spectacular, accommodations were good and it was easy walking distance to downtown Lahaina (about a mile).

We couldn't have found a better place to whale watch in February in Maui. Within minutes of sitting on the lanai, whales were clearly visible. We had a family of 6 adults. Accommodations were very comfortable. 2 master suites were excellent. The upstairs suite had a balcony and spectacular view. The other 2 upstairs rooms were okay and very suitable for children or young teens. Unfortunately, we had 2 adult children with us, so they were not as comfortable. But, all in all the experience was very positive. Close to Lahaina for meals and excursions. The beach in front of the condo was rocky and not suitable for swimming. But there are nice beaches in Kaanapali. Very nice community.

This is a beautiful townhouse on the ocean, close to Lahaina. The layout worked very well for our family of 8 for sleeping accommodations, for preparing meals,,and convenient for restaurants, shopping, sight seeing, etc. The property was comfortable , clean, well maintained. Our favorite spot was the lanai where we enjoyed watching whales, turtles, sunrise, sunsets, surfers, paddle boarders, ships, and the roaring surf. We hated to leave this piece of paradise, and would easily recommend it as a great place to stay on Maui!

It was the perfect location and space for our family of six to celebrate a graduation, two fiftieth Birthdays, a 19th Birthday and an 80th Birthday.

Great location; 20 yards from the ocean. The lanai was exceptional. Kitchen was fully stocked with 1st rate pots, pans, knives, utensils, dishes etc. Plenty of towels and beach stuff. Grassy area by lanai was great for the kids. Photos suggest that the condo is larger than it is but it was great for our family of 7. Master bath rain shower was great. Rick was very responsive. We ran out of BBQ propane in the middle of BBQing and he was there within 20 minutes of calling with a full cylinder. A few upgrades need to happen... The hammock was pretty worn out and needs to be replaced. The electric start on the BBQ didn't work. Overall, a great experience. We will be back!

Overall, wonderful experience. It's an amazing property, perfect corner location, and beautiful ocean views. Also, gorgeous sunset views and a great spot for star gazing on the grass at night.
Rick, the property manager, was very helpful and prompt in his text responses. Everything was functioning properly and the unit was clean and tidy. The only downside was because it's a floor unit, there seemed to be a lot of roaches wandering around at night, even though we never left any food or drinks out. Other than that, it was the perfect vacation home, close to town and yet still afforded exclusivity because of the gated community. I would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved everything about the quality and comfort of the townhouse. There were 7 of us staying including to young grandchildren and it was perfect. It felt like home!

This is a private gated community, oceanfront and amazing views! Our family had an amazing time being able to be together and have our own private beach away from the "tourist" filled places, but also just a few mins to front street and very central to everything.

Stayed for a week with our two grown daughters and their husbands and one toddler grandchild. Great vacation spot for a family. Toddler had great fun playing on the grass just off the Lanai and walking to the beach. Beach is narrow so is better at low tides. Great view, nicely furnished, super comfy beds and pillows, great shower, equipped kitchen. Owner and property manager responded promptly to questions. Would come back!

Everything here as described- except the view as it is beyond description. This is the place to be if staying in Lahaina and it makes it so convenient for days on the boat or drives around the island. Everything you could possibly need is provided at the house and the artistically appointed decor and upscale showerheads to ceiling fans make for a truly memorable and relaxing stay.

Wow! What a fantastic place to stay. So clean and updated! Our party of 8 had plenty of room to sleep and chill out. We spent as much time as we could being outside and the covered lanai was the most used room in the house. The master bedroom with its own bath was great as was the bedroom with attached bathroom downstairs as well. It was so nice having 3 full bathrooms. The kitchen was big enough for the small amount of cooking we did. It was nice that it was already stocked with spices. We also appreciated the beach towels and bath towels. Given that it is marketed as handicap accessible, we would have liked to see some beach chairs that were higher up off of the ground, but we made it work. There was also a boogie board and pool noodles available for use. The location is wonderful. Very close to front street with shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and have no problem giving it 5 stars for everything. We appreciate you sharing your home with us!

It would have been nice to have some type of screen door on the front door in order to get a cross breeze. We love fresh air rather than A/C but couldn't leave front door open. Perhaps a phantom door? Anyway, I think that is the only thing I would change. We loved the property & have already talked about staying there again on another trip.

From the ease of renting online to the courteous people we encountered via email and in person at VRBO, APVR & the Puamana staff, it was everything you would want in a Hawaiian vacation and more. First off the townhome: spectacular. From the moment you walk in, you are in the lap of luxury....from the beautiful tiger maple woodwork throughout the entire house, to the all clad cookware in the kitchen, no minute detail was spared. The view is absolutely breathtaking from sunrise to sunset...and the sound of the ocean waves at night is peaceful & soothing. The lanai is where we spent most of our time when at home...being able to shut off the A/C & open up the massive glass/screen door is a treat. And the automatic screens on the lanai help shade the hot sun in the late afternoon as well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would want- Vitamix, Keurig, high-end appliances...the list goes on. The bathrooms are top notch with a rain shower with a view upstairs in the main bath, to a deep tub and (small) washer/dryer combo in the other 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms are fantastic...2 full bunk beds upstairs, 2 bedrooms with comfy queen mattresses and a master bedroom with views that take your breath away. The Puamana community: a fantastic location, and this rental is in the perfect spot- a far end unit away from foot or auto traffic. The Clubhouse had 3 large clothes washers & dryers, which make for doing beach & bath towels easy, quick & inexpensive (the washer/dryer unit at the house is better suited to small loads). We rented an extra parking space for a second car & the staff was super nice & helpful. The pool is out of this world: warm, spacious & right on the water, where Pacific Ocean waves splash up on occasion on the deck! Plenty of lounge chairs & tables, as well as umbrellas to shield you from the hot sun. We didn't want to leave & cannot wait until we can come back again...

Pictures do not do this home justice. The view is absolutely amazing! Loved every minute and hated to leave. We had plenty of room for all 8 adults. We had a couple of small issues with the home but nothing to make a fuss about. The location was perfect for us. No beach access behind the home but it was only a short walk. Puamana was clean and immaculately kept. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Maui is great and this community is beautiful

Your 4 bedroom home was just the perfect size for our family. The setting is gorgeous with beach access just steps away. The home is very nicely finished with custom wood cabinets and furniture throughout. The kitchen provided nice equipment for our use. We loved the 2 swimming pools on the property that we used. The house is close to town and all the activities and restaurants. We were very happy relaxing there!

We had an incredible week in Maui and staying at Puamana was the icing on the cake. Celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and spending time with family could not have been more fun! Thanks for providing such an ideal and amazing spot to call home. We look forward to enjoying Maui again before too long. Mahalo!
