What can we say...WOW!!! From the moment we arrived on the property we were in love! We were located just across the street from the ocean and the swimming pool was just to the back of us. The unit was very clean upon arrival and was perfect for the two of us. It was supplied with everything we needed. Take a walk to the ocean out the front door and turn around, the view of the mountains is just breathtaking! We will definitely be coming back in the future and will want to stay in the same unit. Thank you Dave for allowing us the use of your unit!!

The condo was great- suggest you replace the drip coffee maker- it works but it has seem better days-
I could not turn of the A/C before leaving; this unit uses wall units and they were loud.

This was my 4th visit in a row to 129-2, although the unit is very dated it is in a nice location, close to the Ocean pool and Clubhouse. The kitchen has what you need, there are ample beach chairs and towels.
The staff is on it should a problem arise. The unit needs all new area rugs and the curtains were replaced. There is alot to do within walking distance to Lahaina, a Sunday street faire and lots of places to eat breakfast/lunch and dinner.We will return next year for another nice visit.

We loved this condo as it had everything we wanted and needed. The sunny front patio had an amazing view of the ocean and we could see the whales jumping and the sun setting from the lounge chairs or the table where we ate meals. The back patio also had a table, gas grill and chairs and was more private and shady with a quick jaunt to the pool. It even included a cooler, beach chairs, umbrella and plenty of towels and kitchen items plus the bed was comfy. We would rent this again in a heartbeat.

We found Puamana 129-2 our initial u it was sold prior to our vacation and we coukd not have been happier. The 1 bedroom 2 bath unit was wonderful and had everything we could ask for to have a fabulous vacation. The place was well stocked with everything, very comfortable and extremely clean. We would rent this unit again in a heartbeat. Directly across from the beach access as well and a 3 minute walk to the fantastic ocean pool.

Rental was good. I love Puamana and this unit was well located. These are older construction so the kitchen could stand to be updated, but everything worked fine and it was decently stocked. Furniture was upgraded and the space felt nice. Maui was in some sort of drought (bummer) so there was a little ant problem, but hosts were responsive and they weren't like CA ants.

We had a great stay at this condo. Enjoyed every breakfast and dinner on the beautiful front lanai with ocean view. Just steps to the beach - waves weren't family friendly during our stay, but the nearby pools were great. Great surf for experienced surfers. Great communication and help from the property managers!

Overall, a great spot with great view to be on Maui time. The condition of the unit itself could use a refresh, but you'll spend most of your time outside. There's no spot quite like Puamana.

This is my 3rd stay at 129-2 and 6th Puamana rental over the last 6 years. The location is great, right in the middle of the complex and close to the kids pool ( they need another pool) so very convenient and across the street from the beach lawn and beach access. The unit itself has everything you need but is dated, internet worked perfectly, W/D needs replacement as it is ancient & very small, the washer went on and off by itself but the cycle was not done. The unit was clean but floors were not, throw rugs need to be replaced. It will be my yearly return vacation spot for 3 weeks going forward ! The Property management staff is on top of any problems & responds immediately.

Puamana is so lovely. We enjoyed our stay in 129-2 a great deal. The location within the neighborhood is very nice and we loved the view from the front patio. The bed is very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. We will be back!

Big thanks to APVR and the owner/s of 129-2!! Stayed there for one month. Hard to leave. Puamana is a great location and great community. Surfed nearly everyday out front and could check surf from kitchen window. My 11 year old son had a blast surfing with the local kids and sunset football games at the mango trees. Beach cruisers provided a plus. Unit was a nicely decorated little beach cabin. Had a problem with the front door lock. Palani from APVR pulled up in his van in under 2 minutes from time of call to remedy the situation. . . Lived the dream. Hoping to return soon.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Puamana. This unit was great for our small family of three. It was close to the pool and the views from the front lanai were lovely!

This condo is in a great location in the community of Puamana, close to the ocean and ocean pool and the kids pool which I avoided. The unit serves its purpose, they have added a TV in the bedroom and the W/D, dishwasher, WIFI, Cable, etc all worked beautifully. There are some cosmetic things that could be updated - the curtains are about 25 years old and the bathrooms could use some updating. Overall its fine for 1 person and I am returning in 2022. Love the complex, the residents are great but they do have a lot of rules and a nasty& unfriendly female security guard who they should let go !

I don’t actually believe in perfection. But we had a perfect time during our stay. The condo was functional and great for our small family and there were lots of beach toys, chairs, boogie boards and surf boards to choose from that we grabbed and took to the beach across the yard from us. With our two sons we felt extremely safe in this quiet community and the luscious landscaping and grass and palm trees surrounding the condo greeted us every morning. We ate all of our meals outside and were appreciative of the washer and dryer inside. This condo has two bathrooms and we were able to darken the living room so our boys could go to sleep at a decent hour. While the condo is older, it seems to be kept up well and fit our family like a glove. We had one issue with the lock not working one day but the maintenance guy was able to come over right away and replace the batteries so it wasn’t very inconvenient. There are three pools on the property so one afternoon we went pool hopping. The ocean and beach are literally 500 feet away and her sons loved playing in the sand and running away from the waves. The surf was flat most of the time but the waves kicked up the last day we were there. And seriously every person that we saw was wearing a giant smile on their face. It doesn’t get better than this.

The best getaway to Maui yet. Puamana is a secure and exceptionally well maintained community in Lahaina that has a tennis court, 3 swimming pools, a club house and condos stocked with everything you need for that "home away from home". We have stayed in this community the previous 2 years, and are returning in 2021.

129-2 is in a great location, the pool is around the corner, the path to the beach is about 70 feet away and you are in the middle of the Puamana complex. The Kitchen has everything you need if you plan to stay in and cook, the BBQ works well. Internet worked like a charm the entire 14 days, no interruptions and the TV/Cable have lots of channels to choose from. The printer was there but I could not get it to work. The decor is dated, the unit could use some paint and a few touch ups. Overall I look forward to returning soon.

129-2 Garden Oceanview had everything we need to explore Maui + it was very close to Lahaina and therefore it's super convenient.
We read the reviews left by previous guests and therefore we prepared and nothing was too much of a surprise.
We actually booked 1 night too long and the owners kindly refunded some of the money for that final day we weren't there.

Notes:
The decor is a bit tired and it's probably in need of modernising a bit.
The cleaners let the owners down a bit as there was some parts that weren't too clean when we arrived.

There were snorkels, sea shoes, paddles etc in a cupbaord in the yard but they werre all slung in there, many covered in sand and untidy, so we didnt feel like rummaging through them all.
The BBQ didn't have any gas left so we bought some steaks for the BBQ and had to grill them in the end in the kitchen - the owners brought gas a day or two after.
The aircons are dated and loud, so we needed ot use a fan inthe night as the aircon kept us awake.

We wanted a relaxing place to go with our 5 month old baby to do close to nothing. This was a great place for that. The pool and beach access were perfect, and it was close to town. The bathrooms need a serious deep cleaning and the pics are filtered to make it look more modernized than it is, but otherwise the place was pretty much what we needed. A/C worked wonderfully.

Absolutely excellent 9 days spent in Lahaina at this excellent property. The only negative thing I would have to say was finding the property initially as we landed in Maui late and did not arrive to the condo into about 11 pm. The dimly lit streets (which we loved after the initial night) made it difficult finding the parking spot and the condo but once we found it all was good. Perfect location in our eyes as we could have the tranquility and quietness of staying at the Puamana property or venture out on foot, bike, or rental car into the perfect, quaint little town of Lahaina and the famed Front Street. Most mornings were spent at the quiet pool right on the ocean which was a 5 minute walk away (we did not bring the kids) but we also spent a couple of mornings/afternoons at one of the other pools where there were parents with toddlers (also very quiet and right outside our door pretty much). We ventured to the beach as well which is directly across the small street and across a green space (maybe 50 yards away) which was perfect for surfing, body boarding, and watching the beautiful sunsets nightly. With the condo, we used both the front and back patios almost daily depending on the time of day and if we were trying to escape the heat or not. The Weber BBQ was a real treat as well as we cooked many meals right at the condo. The kitchen was a decent size and all the two of us needed. The King Size bed was fairly comfortable and the bedroom closet and bedroom furniture made it very easy to organize our clothes and made it feel like we were not living out of a suitcase for a week. I highly recommend this property in every way.

Unit 129-2 is a great place for a surfing couples get-away experience in Maui. The unit was clean and complete with all the supplies needed throughout to make it a comfortable home away from home experience. The kitchen was compact but very practical, full of kitchen tools. If you don't mind staying in an older,rustic and beachy decorated place and don't mind that it's not "modern" but just want a nice quiet place close to the beach and Lahaina, you will enjoy this place. There were a few things that needed addressed but Rick was more than happy to find solutions for us and went out of his way to make this a great trip! Hopefully the unit will get a face lift in the future but overall we were happy in the unit and loved the location. We would stay in this unit again!

Cute and cozy property located within walking distance of the ocean. The neighborhood is quiet and very pretty. Downtown Lahaina is only a few minutes away by car. Management is easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

We recently stayed for one week in this charming property. Initially when we arrived it felt a bit tired around the edges and bathrooms were old. But soon we were settled in and appreciated everything we had, Its so well appointed with full kitchen, a few cooking items like salt, herbs, coffee filters etc. A very comfy bed, bikes (which we used every day), sonas speakers to listen to our Hawaiian music ! Decent cable TV, although took us a while to work all the remotes etc. You get a great view of the ocean, photos dont do it justice as its super close. Felt private and quiet and great AC, just a bit of a leaky unit out the back patio. We loved the location - close enough to busy Lahaina street but away from noise.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maui. The rental was in a great location and the ocean view couldn’t be beat. When we arrived the fans and AC were off (the fans were in a closet-took a bit to notice that) and it was pretty toasty. It would have been nice to have had them on prior to our arrival. Even if it were just 20 mins to cool the u it down. There were some house cleaning items that were missed from the previous renters, but nothing major. Overall we had a great time and can not wait to come back!

Puamana 129-2 is a very well-equipped unit with a great view. Look in every cupboard and closet, including the outdoor storage area and you will find everything you need and more. The bed is very comfortable and the towels luxurious. The living room couch is pretty saggy, and if you're short, you'll need to stand on a stool to get things out of the high kitchen cupboards. Otherwise, we enjoyed this unit very much.

This is a great location right near the surfing beach in Puamana. There were beach cruisers and a long board and short board available as well as snorkel gear and beach chairs and towels. Everything we needed to enjoy all our water sports. The condo was in a great location and we sat at the outdoor table and had coffee watching the ocean every morning. One draw back was the air conditioning. The living room unit works ok. The bedroom unit was barely functioning. In addition the ceiling fans were worn out and not moving much air. We visited in the middle of August so it was hot. During other times of the year I would probably only had the windows open and it would have been fine. I recommend the fans and ACs be upgraded. Other than that everything was awesome and we had a great time.
